- 1 cup Makhana
- 1/2 cup Jaggery/Gur
- 1/2 tsp Ginger powder
- 1/2 tbsp Ghee
- 1tbsp Sesame/Til seeds
- Add ghee in a pan, add sesame seeds, stir for half a minute and then add Makhana & keep stirring on low flame. They should be nicely crunchy.
- In another pan, add water & Jaggery in a pan & make syrup(chashni), cook till syrup is one thread consistency.
- Once done, add ginger powder to the Makhana & then pour the syrup over the makhanas & mix well.
